From Konus Kessel to Konutherm

Konutherm BV in Baarn, Netherlands, originates from the former Dutch branch of Konus Kessel GmbH that was founded in 1966 in Germany. At that time, the former owners had been involved in the design and manufacture of industrial combustion plants for more than six years. In 1973 they entered into a partnership with Buderus, followed in 1986 by Deutsche Babcock and Bertrams Konus GmbH in 1995. Five years later the company started working together with Siemelkamp and changed its name into GekaKonus. Since 2004, the company is being continued from the headquarters in Baarn, Netherlands, under the name Konutherm.

Quality with the capital K of Konutherm

The thermal oil heaters of Konutherm have a rich history. The first thermal combustion plants were built at the Konus Kessel GmbH plant in Germany. Since then, numerous designs for the most diverse international projects have been realized within the process industry, offshore, dredging, inland and maritime shipping. Because we have over half a century of knowledge and experience in the field of thermal oil applications and heat technology, we can justifiably call ourselves the expert. Konutherm is known worldwide as a supplier of a high-quality and reliable product.
